Winter - Fall 2002   Created German audio transcripts for the Department of Modern Languages (Prof. Dr. Hallstein), Carnegie Mellon University. Worked also as a Modern Language Assistant for German.

November 1999 - June 2001   Student Research Assistant at the Volkswagen foundation sponsored database project DISKUS (Digital Information System of Art and Social History) at the Art History Institute, University of Leipzig. Created digital documents on 18th century artist Adam Friedrich Oeser and on Leipzig scholars from 15th to 20th century. Worked with database software Hida3 and the iconography system ICONCLASS.

Conducted archive research on the late-19th century main university building, destroyed in 1968.
March - April 1999 Internship at the Kustodie (art collection) at the University of Leipzig. 
Helped prepare an exhibition about the University of Leipzig in the mid 18th century. Researched important scholars and students of the university of this time period and wrote short biographies for the exhibition catalog "Goethe und Leipzig", Leipzig 1999.
